Lauren Percy of Bow, has been crowned our Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen 2011. As a Junior honor student at Bow High School, she is actively involved in Student Senate, Spanish Club, Youth & Government, BHS school debate team, National Honor Society, and the Bow High School Prom Committee. Lauren is the Public Relations for the state of New Hampshire for the National Honor Society.
Outside of school, Lauren attends the New Hampshire School of Ballet in Hooksett, where she studies pointe, ballet and jazz. She is a member of the NHSB competition team and has danced in over twenty performances of, "The Nutcracker Ballet".
In her free time, Lauren loves to dance! She also enjoys skiing, skating, swimming and playing with her yellow lab, Lilly, and cats Sophie and Lucy. Of course Lauren’s favorite pastime is simply spending time with her family, which includes her mother Suzie, father Michael and brother Christopher.
Since adopting her platform, "Little Miracles: Supporting The Children’s Miracle Network", Lauren has coordinated many events that have raised the spirits of the children, and brought holiday cheer to the children at Boston Children’s Hospital. As Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen, she will continue to promote her platform to ensure that miracles continue to occur in the lives of children that need them most.
Lauren won the title of Miss New Hampshire’s Outstanding Teen on February 13, 2011 at Pinkerton Academy in Derry. There, she competed with 28 beautiful and talented young women from all areas of The Granite State. She is extremely excited to represent New Hampshire throughout the year and in Orlando in August at the Miss America's Outstanding Teen Competition!
