Audra Paquette of Merrimack is Miss N.H. 2005. She competed as Miss Lakes Region in the 59th Annual Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program Saturday night, April 30, 2005. A 24-year-old graduate of Syracuse University, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communications. She also holds an Associate in Liberal Arts degree from the University of New Hampshire. After her year of service, Audra plans to pursue a Master's degree in Interpersonal & Speech Communication and possibly teach at the university level. Miss New Hampshire's platform is "Childhood Obesity: The Neglected Epidemic.” Audra performed a Ballet en Pointe to Yanni's Deliverance during the talent competition.

While at Syracuse University, Audra managed a research group on faculty diversity. She initiated a children's after school fitness program and served as a Public Relations Representative and Chair of Volunteer Services for the Syracuse University Dance Team. Audra also served as liaison to community residents and non-profit organizations informing on the available opportunities in Public Access Television.

Audra is also a certified participant in the Nackey S. Loeb School of Communication and the Bill Gove Speech Workshop. She served as a production assistant for FOX NEWS and CNN during Presidential debates. A Syracuse University Dance Team member, Audra is also a member of the New England Camera Club Model.

Audra is the first person in her family to obtain a Bachelor's degree. She is an avid viewer of home improvement shows and is a former Professional NFL cheerleader. And, she enjoys fishing!
